To Mr. John V. Shea Random Thoughts
Every time I watch his movies I think: "How he can be so different and so natural at the same time?"
The Apocalypse Watch. He is so full of life and energy. It is so painfully unfair, that he dies... Actually there is not much in the movie itself and my first intention after his jumping-into-the-water scene was to stop the movie. But I watched it up to the end... Just in case he would appear somehow. *** The Adventures of Sbastian Cole. I have a strong feeling, that I don't quite understand the character played by John Shea. Why all that oriental (at least not usual) style in his clothes? Why he came to the church in chinese costume? It should definitely mean something... Whatever it means he looks just great. As always. *** Sex and the City. I wander if there is an actor who can play "the man whom she really loved in her liffe" better? In some 3-5 minute he convinced me that there is no one... At least I would never watch Sex and the City for anyone else's sake. *** Missing. This is the best type of movies. You just don't think about details, you are living with all that people, you are scared to death, there is only one thought in your mind - please God, don't do it to me, to my people, to my friends in any country...
